Haruhi Fujioka is a scholar student at the prominent Ouran Academy. As she is looking for a silent place to study, Haruhi ended up on the Third Music Room, a place where the Ouran Academy Host Club, a group of six absolutely gorgeous male students, gathers to amuse both males and females "clients". During their primary meeting, Haruhi unintentionally knocks over and breaks an antique vase valued at 8,000,000 yen and she is told to pay off the cost in service to the club. Haruhi's short hair, slump attire and gender-ambiguous look causes her to be misguided by the hosts for a male student at first. in due course she made the agreement of joining the Club as a host herself (dressed as a male) in order to pay her debt. For the most part, students come from rich families but, in special cases, merit scholarships are granted to outstanding students from a lower income group. The school's unofficial motto is "Lineage counts first, wealth a close second," meaning students with amazing family backgrounds are given top priority over those from rich families but low social status.

I also love this story because I was really laughing the whole time! I just can’t help but laugh on the way the scenes were delivered! Hahahaha! I enjoyed reading this manga and I hope those who haven’t read this will enjoy too. It is still a romantic manga with lots of comedy in it. It is definitely not a tragedy story and is suitable for all ages!
For me, Ouran High School Host Club is rated: “thumbs up! ; smiley”
